A home inspection is an investigation to determine whether all of the essential components of a house are present and doing their job at the time of the visual inspection. The inspection concentrates on the function of the house rather than the form of the house.
An email will be sent to you confirming the inspection along with providing the inspection contract. The contract must be signed and available to me prior to the inspection. If you have any questions regarding the contract, please do not hesitate to contact me.
You have entrusted me to conduct an investigation into the largest purchase that you will ever make. A house will grow with you to become your home; a place of safety, security, shelter and memories. Therefore, for these reasons, I strongly encourage you to accompany me with my investigation. It is important that you are included in the inspection process as "showing is knowing." I am a strong supporter of the "hands on" approach.
This opportunity for you to participate in the inspection will help you understand the major components of the house, their function and hopefully assist you making an informed decision about the house. I truly believe that you, the client, have the right to participate with the investigative process.
At the conclusion of the inspection, a brief summary of the investigation will be shared with you. A complete and detailed investigation report shall be emailed to you. The electronic report will illustrate the conditions of the home’s major components including detailed diagrams in a very comprehensible format. The report can be stored on your electronic devices for future reference.
